There is always something to be grateful for. Yes, we often hear this, and while it can sound cliche, it’s the absolute truth. As a mom, some days can feel like a complete blur. Packing school lunches, drop-offs to sports practice, spilled snacks, endless laundry and the list goes on. It’s easy to focus on what feels overwhelming and forget the quiet blessings happening right in front of us each day. But gratitude has a way of reshaping our perspective and recentering our heart on God’s goodness.
Scripture reminds us, “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.” — Psalm 106:1
His goodness doesn’t pause when we are tired and neither should our thanks. His love doesn’t fade when the schedule is packed. Even in the mess, He is present.

Motherhood teaches us that the most ordinary moments can hold extraordinary grace. The sound of laughter from the next room. A tiny voice saying, “Mommy, look!” The way God uses us — imperfect, learning, sometimes weary — to nurture and shape the lives He entrusted to us. Living a lifestyle of gratitude doesn’t mean ignoring the hard things. It means choosing to look for God in the middle of the hard things.
In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:18
When we pause to thank God for the breath in our lungs, the family He’s blessed us with, and the purpose He’s placed in our hands, our hearts shift. Joy grows. Peace settles in.
So today, take a moment to notice the blessings that are already here — the big ones and the small ones. Write them down, speak them out loud, or pray them back to our Heavenly Father.
This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” — Psalm 118:24

May we mother with grace, live with intention, and thank God in every season. Because even when life feels full and chaotic, He is faithful — and there is always something to be grateful for.

These lines hit me hard because I often think to show gratitude means to suppress or compartmentalize the hard things emotionally but that’s not what God asks of me or requires me to do. He wants me to bring the hard things to Him, use Him and lean more into Him as I get through these things both small and big. This was a great reminder and helps to continue to reset my thinking. Thank you for this word today. It’s right on time.
So glad this ministered to you! God bless you. 🤍
