It seems like anything that can, will in fact, compete for one of your most precious assets, time. There is always work to be done, a checklist to be sorted out, things to be managed. It’s apart of living. The stress of it all can be enough to put one in stage of endless worry asking ourselves how it’s all going to get done. I know for a fact that God has never intended our minds to be overly concerned with such things to the point of worry.
In Matthew 6:34, the Lord tells us “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.”
The truth is, as simple as this concept seems, it can be straight up difficult to follow through with. Keep in mind that God knows what the needs of each of our days are. Therefore, what’s needed on your behalf for today, will be handled in His strength. Anything beyond today will be handled in due time, in His strength. Let your heart and mind be light. Take care to handle all things one day at a time.
“So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.”
