I honestly wish I had come across this scripture sooner than when I did for so many reasons! Right here in scripture we are told that fearing the opinion of another is disabling. Merriam-Webster’s dictionary defines the word disabling as being made inoperative, ineffective, impaired mentally/physically, or deprived of a legal right, qualification or capacity.
That’s alarming. This means that the call on your life, the purpose that you were sent here with, the passions and growth all connected to who you are are inoperative, impaired and you are deprived of your capacity to walk in those things.
Proverbs 29:25 also tells us that trusting in God protects us from all of the above. What a kind and understanding God we serve. He knows our struggles and provides protection from the things that may deprive us from walking in all that He has for us.
All you have to do is trust.

So go forward in action, trusting in God, with whatever glorious things He has placed in your heart. Don’t fear the opinion of others. You only need to fear the one that holds your eternity in their hands. You only have an audience of one, and He is the one whose opinion truly matters. ✨
