New week! New scripture! This one just might be one of my favorites.🧡
After Moses died, God gave Joshua (Moses’ assistant) instructions on what to do to successfully lead the Israelites into the Promised Land. God encouraged Joshua to be strong and courageous, stressing to him not to be afraid or discouraged because He would be with Joshua wherever he went.
As we journey through life the road gets tough, the odds appear to be against us and things become foggy. With God on our side, as his children, none of those things matter. We must be reminded to stay in the Word, meditate on it, and live according to the Word’s instruction (obedience).
“This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:9 NLT
As we meditate on God’s Word, and live according to it, He will guide us in all that we do. There is no need to be afraid. 🪴
Have a wonderful week!
