So the funny thing is, that this scripture was running in the background of my mind and heart all last week! There are so many thoughts that arise from day to day and some of those thoughts are just simply lies from the enemy. Take those thoughts that go against the word of God and make them obedient to Christ. Pray them away, worship them away, speak them away in truth.
“We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”
2 Corinthians 10:5 NIV
I once heard a quote that I think about and tell myself often. “We don’t have control over what flies over our heads but we have control over what nests in it.” The mind is truly a battlefield.
