The month of September has come and gone and all I can think about are the many sweet moments and moments of slow that the Lord has blessed me with. With school starting again, children’s activities, sports and everything in between, I can truly say that things have been busy. But, I have also had my portion of opportunities to reflect, sweet encounters with Jesus and lots of “thank you God, I know that was you” moments.
As a mother, wife and simply just a human being, I am often buried under my never-ending to do list of family, work and household responsibilities. Here recently I’ve noticed that the more of our time we give to God, the more of our time He redeems. Simply put, putting God first makes room for what ordinarily couldn’t be done.
September is always so dear to me with it being not only my birthday month but also the month my father went to be with Jesus. Fall kicks off and the seasons begin to change with a new host of Fall activities and expectancy for what’s to come in this season. I’m so grateful for all that September holds and the sweet moments that God has led me to in this month. My heart is full as we enter the last few months of this year. Much gratitude for this sweet September. 🤍
